Product overview
What WSFA does
WSFA is a configurable Sales Force Automation platform developed by PrajnaBytes International Private Limited to help businesses organise field sales operations, customer engagement, reporting, sales management and team performance.
The current implementation is built for pharmaceutical sales: medical representatives and their managers, doctors, chemists, stockists and distributors, product samples, and the review controls that pharmaceutical promotion needs. The same platform is designed to be configured for other sales organisations.
- Sales planning
- Monthly tour plans, beats and routes, and targets set for each person, product and measure.
- Field execution
- Attendance, daily call reports and team activity, submitted by the field team and approved by managers.
- Customer engagement
- Customer records by category and territory, with every call, product discussed and sample given.
- Reporting
- Reports on calls, coverage, adherence, attendance, expenses, samples, orders, targets and approvals, with Excel, CSV and PDF export.
- Sales performance
- Achievement against targets for primary sales, secondary sales and booked orders, with the previous month for comparison.
- Organisation management
- Employees, reporting hierarchy, roles and permissions, sales geography, settings and audit logs.

Samples and compliance
Control what representatives may use and give on calls. In pharmaceutical promotion this matters: material is used only after it has been reviewed, and only while it is valid.
Promotional Material
Approved visual aids, literature and educational items, and their use on calls.
Compliance Review
Review promotional material and monitor samples and inputs given to customers.
Product Samples
Sample batches, allocation, stock and distribution records.
WSFA supports a review workflow; it does not guarantee regulatory compliance, which remains the organisation's responsibility.
Employee operations
Everyday requests from the field team, handled in the same workspace as their sales work.
Expense Claims
Travel and Daily Allowance and other claims.
Leave
Leave requests, approvals and balances.
Customer management
In the pharmaceutical implementation, customers are doctors, hospitals, clinics, chemists and pharmacies, stockists and distributors. Each user sees the customers in their authorised territories. Customer categories can be adapted to your sales model.
Doctors
Doctors in your authorised territories, with speciality, category, territory and locality.
Hospitals and Clinics
Institutions in your authorised territories.
Chemists and Pharmacies
Retail customers in your authorised territories.
Stockists and Distributors
Trade partners in your authorised territories.
Organisation and administration
Set up the organisation once: who reports to whom, what each role may do, how the sales geography is structured, and how the workspace behaves.
Employee Management
Employees, roles, reporting managers and assignments.
Reporting Hierarchy
Who reports to whom across the sales organisation.
Roles and Permissions
What each role is allowed to do.
Geography and Sales Alignment
States, districts, PIN codes, zones, regions, areas, territories and headquarters.
Settings
Organisation, communication and security settings.
Audit Logs
Record of important changes and sign-in activity.
Sales automation designed around your business.
WSFA is not limited to pharmaceutical sales. Sales teams, customer categories, products, the sales geography (including whether an area level is used), roles, approvals and reports are configured for each organisation, so the platform can follow your structure rather than the other way round.
